10.2% unemployment and health insurance

Employment figures just came out for October. Last month the unemployment rate rose to 10.2% nationally according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This percentage does not include the underemployed, or those who have had their hours cut back.

This lack of jobs is something that needs to be addressed. America needs to get money moving in the economy. This is not done by government spending, which robs the economy of wealth. America cannot borrow its way to wealth. Our government cannot take from those who supply jobs and expect new jobs to be created.

The house just passed a bill that will take over our public health insurance to the cost of 1 trillion dollars (or over 3 thousand dollars for every man, women, and child in the United States). This new bill will force many small businesses to pay for health insurance for their workers or be fined, as well as to pay higher taxes to support the bill. This state of affairs will destroy many small businesses and rob our country of jobs it desperately needs, there again causing more job losses. Will this government ever learn, or maybe they don't care?

Fighting with you to stop the wall of socialism from being built in our country.
