If anyone is in doubt about the idea of a death panel being considered, take a look at what has been promoted starting in 1997 by the Department of Veterans Affairs. It is a small booklet about whether a treatment and your life are worth the cost. It is called Your Life, Your Choices. See page 21.

The Bush White House suspended use of this booklet when they realized what this document was encouraging. However, the Obama administration is promoting the use of this booklet again, which is no surprise. The booklet uses guilt-ridden suggestions that maybe it is time to sacrifice again for your country and do not use medical resources.
Below is an excellent article: The Death Book for Veterans

Keep voicing your concerns because they are starting to have to listen to you! Fighting with all of you to keep our freedom.
