The Budget is Out and it is Out of control

The President has put out his proposal for this year's budget. It is a document that as Winston Churchill put it, "by its very length, defends itself against the risk of being read." It contains a proposal for where 3.8 trillion dollars of our money will go this year. Over roughly the next half a year, this budget will be modified by both the House and the Senate until something can be passed.
If Congress does not start cutting out vast amounts from this budget, it will be borrowing about one out of every three dollars it spends next year. This debt will be added onto the 7.5 trillion dollars that American taxpayers already owe, as of last year. The interest alone will cost us more than $700 per person next year. Just think what you could do with $700?!
We are spending our future.
Congress has balanced the budget before. In the 90s we balanced the budget and even had a surplus. We need to bring fiscal responsibility back to Washington. This isn't rocket science, its common sense.
If I am elected I will work to balance the national budget,
Ruth
