We need volunteers for our grassroots campaign!
This congressional race is an uphill battle, but one that we can win with your support. Getting my name and message out, and educating people on the importance of conservatism will take time and effort. Will you join my team as we stand for the values that make America great, and win back the US Congress?
Here is a list of things we need help with:
- Having a "meet and greet" in your house for Ruth.
- Putting a bumper sticker on your car.
- Walking neighborhoods to put literature on doors.
- Writing letters to the editor, blogging, and calling radio stations.
- Emailing your friends.
- Poll watching to keep the Democrats honest.
- Making phone calls.
- Representing Ruth at various events and places.
- Endorsing Ruth if you haven't already.
- Putting Ruth's literature in your business and signs on your property.
A note about money
Our campaign has determined not to be money oriented, but instead, to concentrate on ideas and solutions. Too many campaigns seem to think money equates to qualified candidates, but in reality it only says the candidate can raise money. (Rep. Gabrielle Giffords is one of the best fundraisers in the country, but isn't the type of politician our country needs.) That said, many people have lectured me on the need to ask for funds, so here it is! We do need money! Campaign advertising, like sending out literature and radio spots, is very expensive. We just bought some signs at a very reasonable price, but it still cost us thousands. None of my staff are being paid. Because of their sacrifice and our determination to run this campaign as economically as possible - your money will go a long way when you donate!
