Ruth and her campaign in her first parade in Yuma. Ruth ran along side the sports car she was supposed to be in, and handed out literature with the rest of us. People would ask her, "Who is running for office?" And she would say "Me...literally." The people loved it! We must have handed out about 1500 pieces of literature.
